It was a journey working on this picture using sand from the Hopi reservation! The sand was gifted to me by my dear Hopi friend. She is my hiking and camping buddy when we go on adventures searching for rock art in the canyons of western North America. We were in SW Texas last November hiking the canyons along the Pecos River. The rock art there was created by early migrants that came up from Central America and Mexico 4,000 - 2,000 years ago. Much of the art in the cave shelters appears to be shamanic.
It has been requested that I provide purchase information on the works in this blog. This original work , as well as prints and cards are available in Gallery 4, "If you love pictographs" The title is "I See You"
